Come cheer them on this Friday, 7PM, at Burlington High School as they face off against Mt. Abe under the lights! 💛⚽💙

Our first academic quarter is coming to a close this week. The final day of the first quarter is Friday, October 31st. That day will be a Make Up Day at MHS.
What are the expectations for Make Up Days at MHS?
Students who are passing all of their classes do not need to attend school.
Any student with a failing grade MUST attend school and work to bring any failing grades up to passing.
Regular class schedules are suspended on Make Up Days, as students can spend time with any teacher that they need to see for extra support or make up work.
Students with failing grades who do not show up at 7:30 will get direct outreach (by phone) from the school to get them in for Make Up Day.
Regularly scheduled bus transportation to and from school will be available to all students.
Breakfast and lunch will be available for all students who attend school on Friday.
This is a strategy that pays great dividends for our students. It rewards students who have all of their grades in order by the end of the quarter and provides targeted support for those who need it.
Both Tech Centers will be running their regular schedules on Friday, October 31st. (Any tech student who needs to do makeup work for MHS can do it between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM.) But all tech schedules and bus schedules will be running normally.
I hope you find this communication helpful. I hope parents and caregivers will help support us in getting our students the support they need.
Many thanks,
Scott

Milton Town School District Contributed to the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment
This year, Superintendent Amy Rex served as a member of the Chittenden and Grand Isle Community Health Initiative Assessment Committee which is a year-long regional effort to collect and analyze data about community health and well-being.
The result of that work, the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), is now available. Developed with 15 community-based partners and input from nearly 1,500 residents across 12 languages, the CHNA will help guide community investments and initiatives for the next three years.
